HideOut Youth Zone is proud to reveal its brand-new fundraising campaign ‘The Thousand‘.

HideOut Youth Zone is a new charity based in Manchester. Our aim is support thousands of young Mancunians by providing them with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to – but we can’t do it alone.

Located in Belle Vue, HideOut Youth Zone is a state-of-the-art facility, which will open 7 days a week for young people aged 8-19 and up to 25 for those with a disability. For just 50p per visit, young people will have access to over 20 activities every night including sports, art, dance, drama, music, media, cooking, enterprise and skills workshops and much more.

We are seeking support from the Manchester community in order to open with a first-class offer for young people. We are asking individuals to commit to a monthly donation of £66, which with gift aid equates to £1,000 per year.

Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting local young people, providing them with somewhere safe and inspiring to spend their leisure time, allowing them to develop their skills, realise their dreams and unlock their full potential.

The idea for The Thousand campaign was born in late 2019 by members of HideOut’s Fundraising Committee and one of our founder patrons, GCA Altium.

The funding raised from The Thousand campaign will directly support us to build on our core offer, providing extra enrichment, specialist and targeted provisions that may include subsidised membership or holiday club places, educational visits outside of Manchester, Duke of Edinburgh programmes, specialist staff and inclusion equipment such as sport wheelchairs and sensory equipment etc.
