HideOut Youth Zone has been shortlisted for two Spirit of Manchester Awards

HideOut Youth Zone has been shortlisted for two Spirit of Manchester Awards, within the ‘Tackling Inequalities’ and ‘Partnership and Collaboration’ categories.

Spirit of Manchester Awards is a celebration of the work of thousands of voluntary organisations, community groups, charities and social enterprises in Manchester.

HideOut Youth Zone has been shortlisted for:

Tackling Inequalities: for our Sunday Club programme for those with additional needs, which includes our monthly Sunday Club socials and the latest ‘Figure-Out Challenge’ which promotes interaction, communication and confidence

Partnership and Collaboration: for our partnership with Manchester Camerata to promote arts and culture within the community

CEO of HideOut Youth Zone, Adam Farricker said:

“It’s fantastic to have been shortlisted for these two awards. There’s so much going on across the city that really captures the spirit of Manchester, and we’re grateful that the judges have seen that within HideOut. We don’t do our work for the awards or recognition, we do it for our young people… but things like this are an added bonus!”

This year’s awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 6th October and will be a special 10-year anniversary event, and the first in-person event since 2019. The winner of each category will be determined by an audience vote on the night.
