Supporters raise vital funds for HideOut Youth Zone at the Great Manchester Run.

Thousands of eager runners descended on Manchester city centre for this year’s Great Manchester Run on Sunday 22nd May. After months of training, athletes took to the city’s streets for the annual half marathon and 10k events.

Over 20 HideOut Youth Zone supporters took part in the run, with half marathon runners setting off at 8.30am, before the 10km races later in the morning.

Those running on behalf of HideOut Youth Zone raised an incredible £7,600, with fundraising continuing following the event.

CEO of HideOut Youth Zone, Adam Farricker said:

We want to thank everyone who took part in the Great Manchester Run to raise money for HideOut Youth Zone. It really was a great day, with a great atmosphere, and a great outcome!

“All fundraising donations are an investment into young people across Manchester who attend HideOut and will go directly towards supporting the work we do to ensure young people have the opportunity to discover their passion and purpose.”

Fundraising for the HideOut Youth Zone is a great way to take on a new challenge, have fun and raise vital funds to support young people. Every penny you raise will go towards our work with young people.
