Founder Patron, Theo Paphitis Charitable Trust, holds charity event to raise vital funds for HideOut Youth Zone.

On Wednesday 8th July, Theo Paphitis Charitable Trust hosted their inaugural charity clay shoot in aid of Starlight Children’s Foundation – UK and HideOut Youth Zone.

The event, held at The Royal Berkshire Shooting School, was attended by more than 50 business representatives from across the country, all personally invited by the successful entrepreneur, Theo Paphitis.

The day included a morning of clay pigeon shooting, a 3-course lunch, auction and other fun money-raising activities.

We are pleased to share the final total raised from the event was over £60,000, which will be shared equally between the two charities.

Director of Fundraising and Communications at HideOut, Lara Partridge, attended the event and had the opportunity to share HideOut’s story with attendees.

Speaking at the event, Lara said:

“HideOut’s is passionate about providing young people somewhere safe to go, something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to. We want to help young people discover their passion and their purpose.

“Thanks to the support of Founder Patrons, like Theo, and the generosity of the community, we can provide Manchester’s young people with opportunities to experience new things, learn new skills, and open doors that they maybe wouldn’t have been able to push open on their own.”

Reflecting on the event, Theo Paphitis said:

“The kind support, generosity, and sportsmanship of all our attendees made the event a huge success and I’m delighted to share that the total fundraising from the shoot is now over £60,000 – a truly remarkable achievement!

“Together we can all make a massive difference and help those in need, as well as having a bit of fun along the way!”
