HideOut Youth Zone is now an official member of pro-manchester, the Manchester Business Community and largest development organisation in the North West. Over the next 12 months we look forward to being part of the network and having the opportunity to connect, share and collaborate with members across the city. We also plan to work in partnership to deliver a range of business breakfasts and networking events at the Youth Zone as soon as restrictions allow.

HideOut opened in September 2020, and provides a safe place for thousands of young people aged 8 – 19 (or up to 25 for those with additional needs) to enjoy their leisure time. The charity is delivered in partnership with Capital Donors Fred Done, Manchester City Council and Onside Youth Zones, alongside a number of supportive businesses and philanthropists, who have a vested interest in helping Young Mancunians.

Sam Booth, pro-manchester CEO said” We are delighted that HideOut Youth Zone has chosen to sign up as a member of pro-manchester. They are a fantastic charity that provides brilliant support for young people. Their vital work is needed now more than ever and I would urge our members to visit the Youth Zone and get involved if you can.

Despite the latest lockdown we have been operating 7 days a week, providing much needed support for young people during challenging times. Throughout February we delivered vital support in small groups & 1to1’s, digital & online sessions, welfare calls, home door visits & detached street work across the community, engaging over 920 young Mancunians.

Rich Driffield, Head of Development said “We are excited to become a member of pro-manchester and look forward to building new relationships within the Manchester business community. Having the support of businesses from across the city is critical to the success of HideOut and ensures that we can provide all young people with a first class offer, that matches the quality of the Youth Zone itself. We look forward to meeting our fellow members from across the network and welcoming you into the Youth Zone over the coming year”
