HideOut Youth Zone holds its annual Patrons Dinner for funders and supporters.

Wednesday 30th November saw HideOut’s second annual Patron’s dinner event take place at the Youth Zone, with over 80 of HideOut’s committed supporters attending the celebration.

The event provided an opportunity for HideOut to reflect on its first fully operational year without Covid-19 restrictions, celebrate young people’s achievements and give thanks to all involved in HideOut’s development in 2022.

Attendees of the evening included the Lord Mayor of Manchester, HideOut’s Board of Trustees, Founder Patrons and HideOut’s Major Capital Donor, Fred Done.

Attendees were treated to a fantastic three course Christmas meal, made by HideOut’s Catering Team at Queen Bee’s Café.

The event was led by young people with two of HideOut’s Senior Club members, Aliyah and Zak, hosting the evening, and HideOut’s ‘Young Leaders’ providing insight into activityand learnings throughout the year.

The evening also welcomed talent from HideOut’s young people who performed great singing, dance and rap routines throughout the night, supported by HideOut’s Creative Arts team.

Junior Cub member, Jared, who performed on the evening said: “I was very happy to be part of it and really proud of myself and everyone who did it too. HideOut has helped me gain a lot of confidence in myself.”

Reflecting on the event, CEO, Adam Farricker said: “It was great to have everyone who has supported HideOut with us to celebrate what we have achieved together over the past year, and to recognise the impact the Youth Zone has on our members, their families and our local community.

“The team did a great job pulling the event together, which was made even more special by the incredible input from our members.”

On behalf of our staff team, trustees and most importantly the young people, we wanted to say a huge thank you to those who attended and for your continued support for HideOut Youth Zone.

If you were unable to attend the event, don’t worry… we live tweeted the event. You can catch up here.
