Penelope Cheshire, Managing Director at one of the world’s most successful beauty brands, Beauty Works, has become the latest supporter of HideOut Youth Zone by making a significant Founder Patron pledge to the young people’s youth charity which opened in Gorton in September.

As a Founder Patron, Penelope is donating her time, and financial support to HideOut for the next four years. HideOut is open to young people aged 8-19 and up to 25 for those with additional needs. The aim of the Youth Zone is to raise the aspirations, enhance prospects and improve health and wellbeing for young people in Manchester, by providing affordable access to a wide range of programmes, services and activities including sports, arts, music, media, dance, drama, mentoring and much more.

Penelope Cheshire, Managing Director at Beauty Works said: “I am delighted to be involved with HideOut Youth Zone, a charitable organisation that is making such a positive impact on young people across the Manchester area. The extraordinary work that they undertake in providing young people with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to, is a noble calling, and I look forward to a long and lasting relationship with them.”

As part of the support, Beauty Works will also be providing over 30 health and well-being packs for young people from the local area across December, further supporting those who need it most during challenging times.

Adam Farricker, Chief Executive at HideOut said: “We are delighted to have Penelope and Beauty Works on board as a Founder Patron. I would like to thank her for the support and commitment to working with us to help young Mancunians over for next four years. It is with great thanks to individuals like Penelope that we are able to support Manchester’s next generation.”
