Leading cloud and digital service provider, ANS, is proud to extend its support to the HideOut Youth Zone by providing funding for new memberships and hot meals for young people. Based in Gorton, Manchester, the Youth Zone officially opened its doors in September.

Following months of isolation, which has taken its toll on young people’s physical and mental wellbeing, the Youth Zone will play a key role in supporting young people for years to come.

The Youth Zone already supports over 1000 young people in the local area, following its mantra of providing young people with ‘somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to’.

The £6.6million state-of-the-art building has some of the most impressive facilities in the city, including an indoor climbing wall, four-court sports hall, fully equipped gym, 3G all-weather pitch, music room with recording suite, training kitchen, dance studio, health and well-being room, arts and crafts area and much more, all for just 50p per visit.

ANS has provided additional support to HideOut Youth Zone to help cover the costs of new memberships and hot meals for young people, over the next 6 months.

During the October Half Term, HideOut will be running a holiday club for 50 young people aged 8-12 from across Manchester. This extra funding will allow them to provide additional support that aims to tackle holiday hunger and plug the gap relating to free school meals during holiday periods.

Adam Farricker, HideOut CEO said “We were already extremely grateful to ANS for their support as a Founder Patron of HideOut Youth Zone. The addition of this generous donation will directly allow us to support children and families that need it most during the school holiday period. There has been some high-profile media attention drawn to these issues in recent weeks and we are proud to have the backing of partners like ANS, that share our aspirations on improving the life chances of young Mancunians.”

ANS CEO, Paul Shannon commented, “As long-time partners of the Onside Youth Zones network, it was only natural that we would extend our support to the HideOut Youth Zone to help local families. The staff at the Youth Zone are doing an incredible job in very difficult times and we’re proud to help in any way we can.”
