Supporters raise vital funds for HideOut Youth Zone at the Great Manchester Run.

Thousands of runners took to the streets of the city on Sunday 21st May for this year’s Great Manchester Run, taking on the 10k and half marathon events.

The Great Manchester Run celebrated its 20th anniversary in true Mancunian style, with high-energy soundtracks and live music at every kilometre.

50 HideOut Youth Zone supporters took part in the run, including Patrons Beyond Law Group, Godel Technologies, Bruntwood, Houlihan Lokey and Mission Mars.

Those running on behalf of HideOut Youth Zone raised an incredible £8,000, with fundraising continuing following the event.

Director of Fundraising and Communications at HideOut Youth Zone, Patti Holmes said:

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Great Manchester Run to raise money on behalf of HideOut Youth Zone. It was an excellent day celebrating 20 years of the GMR, and we’re so grateful for the money raised by our supporters. The money will go far in helping us continue in providing young people in Manchester with somewhere safe to go, something positive to do and someone trusted to talk to!”

Fundraising for the HideOut Youth Zone is a great way to take on a new challenge, have fun and raise vital funds to support young people. Every penny you raise will go towards our work with young people.
